This slow cooker recipe for Ham 'n Swiss Chicken is easy to make and will feed a large family!

Slow Cooker Ham 'n Swiss Chicken

Crockpot recipe that includes bread, ham, Swiss cheese, and chicken.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. milk divided
  • 1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery optional
  • 1 tsp. finely chopped onion
  • 8 slices bread cubed
  • 12 slices deli ham thinly sliced, rolled-up
  • 2 c. shredded Swiss cheese (8 oz.)
  • 2 1/2 c. cubed cooked chicken
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted (10 3/4 oz.)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and 11/2 c. milk. 

  2. Add butter, celery, and onion. 

  3. Stir in bread cubes. 

  4. Place half of the mixture in a greased slow cooker; top with half of the rolled up ham, cheese, and chicken. 

  5. Combine soup and remaining milk; pour half over the chicken. 

  6. Repeat layers once. 

  7. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until thermometer inserted into bread mixture reads 160°.
