  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 pound ziti
  • 2-26 ounce jars spaghetti sauce
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese shredded
  • 1 pound sour cream
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese shredded
  • parmesan cheese

  1. Brown the ground beef and onion (chopped).
  2. Cook and drain ziti pasta.
  3. Add both jars of spaghetti sauce to the pasta and simmer for 15 minutes. Put half of the pasta mixture in a 13” x 9” pan.
  4. Place 8 ounces of shredded provolone cheese on top of pasta.
  5. Spread 1 pound of sour cream over the cheese.
  6. Place one-half of the meat on top of the sour cream.
  7. Put the rest of the pasta on top of the meat.
  8. Place 8 ounces of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the meat.
  9. Put the remaining meat on top of the mozzarella cheese.
  10. Sprinkle the top with parmesan cheese.
  11. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. (This can be frozen before cooking. Place in refrigerator the night before to defrost. Bake until hot--will probably take longer to cook.)
