Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting
Ingredients for Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake:
of salad dressing
like Miracle Whip--This makes the cake moist, but you don't taste the salad dressing once it is baked.
of cold water
Ingredients for Peanut Butter Frosting:
of powdered sugar
of peanut butter
I probably used closer to 1/3 c. cup--but I also used 3 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake:
Grease and flour a 13" x 9" cake pan--I actually used cocoa instead of flour since it was a chocolate cake.
Beat all ingredients together. Pour into prepared cake pan.
Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean
Peanut Butter Frosting:
Beat all ingredients together with a mixer until smooth. If too stiff, add more milk. Only add a tiny bit of milk at a time until you get your desired consistency.
