Delicious, easy recipe for Mostaccoili alfredo

Quick Mostaccioli Alfredo with Chicken Strips


  • 1 pound Signature penne
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup Signature Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley optional
  • 1 teaspoon salt optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Signature garlic powder

If adding chicken, 1-2 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken breast

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup Signature Italian Bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup Signature Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon Signature garlic powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Canola or olive oil


  1. Prepare penne according to package directions. Drain.
  2. In a large pan, heat cream and butter on low heat Do not boil
  3. Add penne, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Toss gently to coat.

Chicken strips:

  1. Cut chicken into strips.
  2. Prepare an egg wash to dip the chicken in. (1 egg and 1 Tablespoon water beat together.)
  3. Mix bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder in another dish.
  4. Dip chicken in egg wash, then in bread crumbs mixture.
  5. Cook breaded chicken in oil in a skillet. Turn chicken over periodically to make sure all of chicken is cooked.
  6. Place on top of Mostaccioli Alfredo.
