I have not shared any of your posts that you linked up in weeks! With vacation and family in town, I have scrambled to just get my own posts published. So this week, I looked at the linkups from June 14, 21, and 28 and July 5 and picked out some of the posts that I enjoyed reading. I hope you enjoy some of these thoughtful posts too!
As a mom of two teenagers, I thought Teenager Peer Pressure Conversations You Need to Have from Confessions of Parenting was an excellent read and gave me pointers on a few things I haven’t discussed with my kids yet. Her post How Being Quick to Anger is Hurting Our Kids was also very thought provoking.
After having 14 people (10 kids) in my house the past week and a half, I appreciated Importance of Me Time from Joyfully Unexpected even more than I normally would. I loved having my family with me, but my “me time” is just having an half an hour to an hour of quiet where I can read a book. It is very important for my sanity!
I am rather frugal, but not as frugal as I used to be. So I liked the post, 12 Ways To Be Frugal from The Big Money Saver. It reminded me of a few ways that I can do better at not spending. You can also read her post on 50 Fun and Frugal Date Ideas.
If you want to get some ideas for beautiful Bible journaling, look at Paulette’s Papers post HERE.
How to Listen and Make Relationships Sparkle from Sun Sparkle Shine gives 5 points on how to become a better listener — something I am trying to be.
A good post regarding marriage was 6 Ways to Make Your Marriage Work with God’s Help from Unshakeable Joy.
If you have kids at home this summer, it’s not too late to put Planning for the Summer: Life Skills for the Win from An Ordinary Mom’s Musings into practice.
I have a passion for encouraging kids to love reading, so I loved Raising Readers: 8 Tips for Reading to Babies & Young Children from Dear 3 Boys.
If making more mom friends has been one of your desires, then read 5 Ways To “Get On Your Bike” And Make Some Mom Friends from Foxy’s Domestic Side.
Stop & Let The Ducks Cross – A Dose of Encouragement from Sandra’s Ark is a good reminder to stop and find find joy in waiting on God.
