My thoughts of the week:
- I am tired.
- I get discouraged with dealing with a child’s attitude.
- I have a lot to do.
- Things keep breaking. (Our brake line, brakes, and battery on our car; van needed body work done, I broke our camera–I’m so thankful we had a warranty, my laptop is breaking at a hinge (a friend should fix it with the same model I bought off ebay for parts), and the food processor just broke!)
So what do I do? Many times I fret or worry or waste time.
What should I do?
So instead of writing a long post or even going to look for posts to feature, I’m going to stop typing so that I can go and “Be Still!” I encourage you to find some time to “Be still” as well!

Being still is oh so important when things are going awry for me as well. That is, so long as I catch myself in the midst of the frustrating things. Right now, I’m being still when it comes to knowing more about a change we want to make as a family. 🙂
That is hard! We are going through that as well.
Tammy, sometimes when I read what you write here, I feel exactly how you feel. This is such a great post every week. I know sharing personal and spiritual feelings are scary on the internet, but I truly appreciate this here. Thank you.
Thank you, Elizabeth. I had to feel like blogging was worthwhile to my spiritual life, and this has helped me!
So true. So many times over. I need to be still and seek God. Thank you for the reminder.
You’re welcome–I get more out of these post than anyone else!
