I had posted this recipe for Peanut Butter Chip Chocolate Cookies a couple of years ago, but my daughter recently made this recipe again and made a little video to go along with the post.
These cookies pair rich chocolate with the creamy peanut butter chips for a taste that cannot be easily forgotten. The best part is that they are an easy drop cookie that even my 5th grader can easily make. It’s wonderful having a daughter who likes to bake!

Peanut Butter Chip Chocolate Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 2/3 cup cocoa
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups peanut butter chips 1- 11 or 12 ounce bag
Instructions

Cream butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy.

Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture.

Stir in peanut butter chips.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

Cool 1 minute before removin from cookie sheets onto wire rack.
