May is always a busy month when you have children as it is the end of the school year. This year was no exception! It was a very fun, busy month.
The benefit of living in Florida is the beautiful beaches and sunsets. Right now I am really missing fall, but Florida has it’s own beauty. And it has it’s own creatures that the north does not have — like armadillos.
We had an opportunity to go see The King and I for really great price. Dave and I went first and had a fun date night. Then Dave took the oldest three girls for another show. All of us enjoyed watching the show!
May ended our school year. Here is a picture of Dave teaching the kids at chapel time. We basically have a one room school house with the help of internet and online classes for some classes. We love it! We went to a science field trip for the last day of school. Dave even had a great time.
Our graduation for the school was very special as our baby graduated Kindergarten. Kiley had a great day!
We also had an awards program for the Wednesday night children’s program. All of the kids did a great job in memorizing verses and working through their books.
Kaylin and I went to the FPEA Florida Homeschool Convention. We had fun, and she and her friend were able to meet Girl Defined which was the highlight for them of the convention.
To wrap up May, Kristi turned 10. I did not have many pictures of her actual birthday, but I have more pictures of her birthday party that happened in June!
