If you remember July’s goals, they were all centered around moving. Since we had to move, those goals all got done!!
Kind-of. We are moved, but I still have unpacking to do. August is going to be very busy too, but hopefully not as physically demanding as moving was.
Here are August’s goals:
1st week of August:
–start planning homeschool year
2nd week of August
–finish Karis’s quilt
–finish schedule/lesson plans for at least first 4 weeks of homeschooling
–start routines of household duties
3rd week of August
–start daily routines with kids
4th week of August
–start English and Spelling; continue Math
Since this is my first year homeschooling, and I haven’t looked at my books yet, I really don’t know how this will all evolve. We’ll find out!
I am continuing my goals of doing my daily Bible reading. I haven’t done very well the last week with moving.
I would like to be able to make some more printables and focus more on blogging in August. We’ll see how much time I have with homeschooling though. My stats have fallen way off this summer as it is summer and I haven’t had time to focus on blogging. I am fine with that, but blogging is a way for me to supplement our income if my stats stay up. So we’ll see what happens! I am hoping Kaylin can do some book reviews and I want my girls to make a new recipe once a month that they pick out, so that will give me some Tasty Tuesdays’ material.
I have had a few wonderful guest posts in July:
- Raspberry Lemonade Push Pops
- DIY Tiger Zoo Animal Toilet Paper Roll Craft
- Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
I also shared a new recipe, Sour Cream Chocolate Chip Muffins.
And I made some printables that will help you be organized for your family vacation.
My Thoughtful Thursdays posts are also some of my favorite posts where I share my thoughts with you!
What are your plans for August?
