I am trying to get caught up on our family memories; but it seems like time goes by so fast that when I get one month done, another month has passed me by.
November was a fun month — especially for Kaylin. She turned 13, which means we now have a teenager and a tween in the house. They are growing up too fast!! Kaylin also got her braces off, which she as very excited about.
Kaylin was able to have a 13th birthday party with some of her best friends. She rarely sees 4 of them, so it was a very special time for her. They had fun playing Twister, watching Rigoletto which is one of her favorite movies, having a Candy Apple Bar dessert, and bowling together.
We all crashed her party and went bowling too! I am so thankful for Groupon!
A few days later, we celebrated her birthday on her actual birthday date. She chose her favorite foods including her favorite brownie ice cream cake and opened her presents. She loves these little clip on lights that I found at Costco.
November also had our only big snow so far! We have had a couple of inches here and there since then, but we had about 8 – 10″ inches of snow at the beginning of November. It did make for some beautiful views!
