I think most people would agree with me that 2020 was rather overwhelming. The events could never have been predicted, and many times a person does not know who to believe or trust.
Yet, there are some things of which we can be sure:
God can be trusted.
He never changes.
He always keeps His promises.

If we get on Facebook or watch the news, we may get discouraged. But God has already told us how the story ends. And He has given us promises to encourage us along the way. So why do we focus on the world and its problems? Of course, we must be aware to what is going on around us, but we do not need to focus on the bad. We need to stay centered on what we know to be true:
God in control.
He is always good.
He will never leave us nor forsake us.

So in these unsure times, we need to focus on what God has said. He will keep His Word. I shared last week what I am doing to try to make sure that I get in the Word more. But then as I meditated on Scripture, I thought that there has to be even more ways that I can keep God’s Word before me.
I thought one way that I could stay focused on what is true is by keeping it literally right in front of me. So I made a couple of printables that can be used as weekly organizers/to-do lists or more. On each, are a couple promises. Next week, I will share a couple of different organizers that are in the same format with more promises of God!

Of course, there are many, more promises in the Bible. If you feel that you are getting discouraged, go find some more promises of God. Remembering His goodness to us encouraged the soul!
