My youngest child is now 6, and my oldest child is almost 15! It’s scary how fast time goes by. Next year includes plans for high school and a driving permit. My youngest now can read and is losing teeth!
I love this stage of life that I am in (for the most part). The kids can dress themselves, help around the house, and we have no car seats. (Yep, in Florida, 6 year old children no longer have to be in a car seat.)
The other thing that we have been done with for a long time is diapers — and diaper bags (and sippy cups). It is so nice to be able to go to the car with just a wallet and my keys.
Even though we can find plenty to be happy about in this period of life we are in, every time I hold a newborn baby, I get nostalgic remembering holding my own babies and how dependent they were. There’s nothing in the world like holding and caring for a baby. I miss seeing and holding them when they were this small.
Having a little baby can be wonderful, but it also can be stressful. Moms (and dads) can get sleep-deprived. There is more laundry to wash; and less time to do regular chores. There are also more expenses as there are doctor bills, sometimes formula that must be bought, and the always-necessary diapers and wipes.
I was very blessed as my parents were close to me when I had all five of our children; I had wonderful insurance; and I was able stay home and nurse all of my children.
But those diapers — I still had to get them. Luvs was a favorite diaper of mine, as I could get them for great prices and often find a coupon to use. I felt like they gave me the same protection as other name-brand diapers for a much lower price.
Even though I no longer have a baby, I remember those days of trying to not spend too much money on diapers. If you have a baby or know of someone who has a baby or toddler in diapers, let them know of this $2 print-at-home coupon offer that is available through the rest of this month. You can print the coupon at home and use it at any mass, discount or grocery stores where Luvs Diapers are sold. All Luvs Diapers are included in this particular offer, except trial/travel sized diaper packs. Luvs sells newborn size of diapers through size 6 diapers. This print-at-home coupon will expire 30 days from the date the coupon is printed by the consumer.
This week, visit HERE to access a Luvs coupon of $2 off any one diaper pack.
