This recipe, Meat Loaf Patties, is one that I fall back on when I failed to plan ahead! I always have some ground beef in my freezer as I buy beef once a year from my uncle, and the other ingredients are staples in my pantry and refrigerator.
I consider these patties a cross between hamburgers and meatloaf. You fry them just like a hamburger, but they have more seasonings like a meat loaf!
They are rather quick to throw together and cook up quickly (much quicker than baking a meatloaf!) You just mix up all the ingredients together and fry them!
My children, who I consider to be picky eaters when it comes to meat, do like to eat these patties with some ketchup to the side.
